And that's a wrap ELABORATOR's 1st Plenary in its Lighthouse city of Issy-les-Moulineaux! The consortium came together on 31 January - 1 February 2024 for two days packed with fun co-creation activities.
ELABORATOR marks yet another milestone with the conclusion of its 1st Plenary in Issy-les-Moulineaux, one of the project's Lighthouse cities. The event was filled with engaging moments and collaborative efforts, reiterating once again the project's commitment towards designing sustainable urban mobility and fostering climate-neutral cities.
Our consortium of 38 partners came together at the Town Hall of Issy-les-Moulineaux for two days packed with fun co-creation activities and insightful discussions. Several workshops were organised by different work package leads, allowing cities and technical partners to brainstorm together crucial aspects of the project: the topics were multifold, ranging from identifying expected impacts to defining the co-design of ELABORATOR's co-creation toolkits, from reflecting on the project's storytelling to reviewing the interventions' twinning, no stone was left unturned. Indeed, the exchange of perspectives and understanding of needs between Lighthouse and Follower cities was a central theme, allowing them to grow closer together as they gear up for their collaborative journey.
But that's not all - partners also got to experience first-hand the host city's planned mobility intervention to make their streets safer for vulnerable road users. The immersive experience provided valuable insights into the real-world impact of ELABORATOR's pilots, inspiring fellow cities for their own interventions.
