June was a busy month for ELABORATOR! Find out more about the European events we attended, focusing on cycling, climate-neutral cities, and urban resilience.
Our first destination? Ghent, Belgium! From 18 to 21 June, we were at Velo-city 2024, the world's largest conference focused on all things cycling. We got to share a booth in the Exhibition Area with the PHOEBE Project, and it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with advocates, cities, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders in the cycling and sustainable mobility sector.
Represented by our partner POLIS, we enjoyed sharing all about the ELABORATOR project's work and spreading our common mission towards a vision of mobility that is safer and more sustainable for all users, leaving no one behind.

ELABORATOR's next destination? Valencia, Spain! We were thrilled to join two events in the framework of the Valencia Cities Climate Week, hosted by the city as part of the Valencia EU Green Capital 2024 celebrations:
On 25-26 June 2024, we joined the Cities Mission Conference 2024, the third annual conference for the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission. ELABORATOR was featured with the CIVITAS Urban Public Space Design Cluster projects, engaging with Mission City mayors and practitioners, representatives of national and regional authorities, and others to connect and engage on Mission-critical concepts and ideas.
On 26-28 June 2024, we participated in the 11th edition of the European Urban Resilience Forum (#EURESFO24), organised by ICLEI and the European Environment Agency (EEA) as a unique exchange platform in the field of resilience. Our Project Coordinator, I-SENSEGroup/ICCS, welcomed city representatives, experts, and stakeholders from local and regional institutions to our 'Urban Planning Design' booth. Alongside our sister projects, Just Streets and REALLOCATE, we shared our missions towards ClimateNeutral and resilient cities.

These events were a fantastic opportunity to connect with passionate individuals and organizations dedicated to cycling, sustainable urban development, and urban resilience. We showcased our work, discussed strategies, and explored potential collaborations for building more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient urban cities. A sincere thank you to everyone who visited our booth and engaged in meaningful conversations.
Until next time!
